This artwork is inspired by one of my favorite artists and architects, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who built the fabulous Kunsthaus of Vienna. In the Fine Arts Academy of Venice, I have dedicated my master thesis to him, as he was one of the first progressive precursors of the Green Living Movement. In projecting this work I was wondering how this house could look like, if it is inhabited by animals of the forest, in a fusion of human creative architecture and wild habitat: An Architectonic Forest!

Artist friends, do you want to share with me one of your tricks on how to paint water well, the movement of the waves of the sea?
Mine is this: what I always keep in mind is that water is a liquid and fluid element and so I try to move the brush in my hand as well. And the color I use to spread the reflections over the basic blue is very fluid, diluted and transparent 💙. Something that everyone should know about our oceans:
The ocean regulates the Earth climate. It regulates rain and droughts. Holding 97% of the water of our planet, almost all rain that drops on land comes from the sea. The ocean absorbs CO2, to keep the carbon cycle, and accordingly temperatures on Earth, in balance. It is like our global climate control system. 🌈

The Ocean is the heart of the planet. Water covers more than two-thirds of the Earth’s surface. Sea plants produce 70% of the oxygen we breathe.
Phytoplankton is a microscopic plant which spends its life being carried by oceanic currents. Basically, these tiny little organisms act in the same way as tree leaves do on land. Phytoplankton absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen. We do not see them, so we tend to forget about them if we even know about them in the first place. They are one of the tiniest beings on the planet, but one of the most important to have around, keeping us alive. 🌊💙

The movement and fluidity of water is for me always an artistic challenge that I love to face 🌊
I painted these sea waves on a large surface during my experience as a scenic painter 🎨.
